Last week, the prices of edible agricultural products rose slightly

According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Commerce, prices of edible agricultural products (5.54, -0.04, -0.72%) in 36 large and medium-sized cities across the country rose slightly last week (September 17 to 23), and prices of production materials continued to rise for two weeks.

Last week, the retail price of eggs rose by 0.4% from the previous week. The retail price of grain and oil rose generally. The price of rice and flour rose by 0.2% from the previous week. The prices of peanut oil, soybean oil and rapeseed oil both rose by 0.1%.

Last week, the wholesale price of 8 kinds of aquatic products rose by 0.1% from the previous week. Among them, the overall increase in marine products, and the prices of small yellow croaker, small octopus, big yellow croaker and big octopus rose by 4%, 2.8%, 1% and 0.7% respectively. The wholesale price of meat fluctuated slightly. The price of pork rose by 0.2% from the previous week. The price of beef rose by 1.2%. The price of mutton fell by 0.1%. The retail price of white broilers rose by 0.2%.

The vegetable market has ample supply. Last week, the wholesale price of 18 kinds of vegetables was the same as the previous week. The prices of Chinese cabbage, lettuce and white radish decreased by 8.1%, 6% and 5.9% respectively; the market volume of vegetables such as green beans, bitter gourd and tomatoes decreased. The prices rose by 7.9%, 7.8% and 6.7% respectively.

In the main production materials, the prices of mineral products, rubber, steel products, energy, chemical products, and building materials have risen. The prices of non-ferrous metals, light industrial raw materials, and agricultural materials have remained flat.
