Why doesn't chrysanthemum blossom for many years?

Your daisy has been raised for three years but does not bloom, for the following reasons.

1. The flower bud differentiation of chrysanthemum is completed in its own growth stage. At the same time, the environment has been shortened in sunshine (within 12 hours per day), the temperature has dropped, and the temperature difference between day and night has reached about 10°C. Flower buds, if the conditions are not met will affect the differentiation of flower buds, of course, will not bloom.

2. During the growth stage, nitrogen fertilizer is applied more, the leaves are too lush, and the buds on the plants often become leaf buds, which affects the differentiation of flower buds.

3. Timely pruning has a relationship with flower bud formation. In the middle of July, the last pruning and topping was done. Weak branches, dense branches, and toppings on the existing branches, which can promote flower buds, bloom in November. Pruning affects the formation of flower buds too early or too late.

4. The formation of different flower buds also differs. Individual species require harsh conditions. Once immature, they do not grow buds. In practice, these species are often eliminated unless there are special advantages.

5. If you want this pot of chrysanthemum to bloom, you can update it, replant it, let the seedlings maintain strong vitality, pruning and picking the heart in time, removing the overly dense and weak branches, and gradually applying some fertilizer water after the fall. Thin nitrogen fertilizer is dominant, and phosphorus and potassium fertilizers are added later, so that it can bloom in the autumn.
