Factors affecting vanadium element on the grain of ball mill liner

Vanadium forms fine-grained carbides with carbon in the ball mill liner and is distributed at the grain boundaries. This carbide has a high melting point and is difficult to dissolve even when heated to a very high temperature. It has the function of preventing the grain boundary from moving and inhibiting the growth of high temperature grain of steel. For the ball mill liner, during the solidification process, vanadium elements can make the grain of the ball mill liner not excessively coarse due to the large amount of vanadium carbides, nitrides and oxides as the crystal core.

The low-carbon manganese-vanadium steel commonly used by zui has 09MnV, 12MnV and other grades, and is widely used in ball mill accessories.

Titanium also has the effect of refining grains and reducing the tendency of steel to temper brittleness at 250-400 °C. Manganese and titanium are added to the ball mill liner in an appropriate ratio, which is more beneficial to improve the mechanical properties and heat treatment properties of the liner.

In the ball mill liner, elements such as bismuth, molybdenum, copper, and rare earth may be added. The action of bismuth and vanadium and titanium is similar. The molybdenum can reduce the critical cooling rate of austenite eutectoid transformation and improve the hardenability of the ball mill liner. Copper can strengthen the role of molybdenum, and the thin seven-membered cable helps to improve the strength and wear resistance of the ball mill liner.

This product is mainly used for the accessories of ball mill. The ball mill liner produced by our factory is very wear-resistant and the service life is 1.5 times that of ordinary ball mill accessories. The main feature is wear resistance and convenient replacement.

Compressed air is purified through the air dryer and filters to a certain level for main plant to work with. Air buffer is incorporated for smooth supply of compressed air thus to reduce fluctuation of compressed air source. The plant produces oxygen with PSA (pressure swing adsorption) technology, which is a time proven oxygen generation method. Oxygen of desired purity at 93%±3% is delivered to oxygen buffer tank for smooth supply of product gas. Oxygen in buffer tank is maintained at 4bar pressure.

With a cabinet for small capacity or container for big capacity, all the parts can be involved in, and removable with a vehicle.
