Shao Mingli said that the State Food and Drug Administration will also encourage and guide the application of new drugs for Uygur medicine or apply for registration through imitation, etc. in accordance with relevant regulations to meet the needs of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang, and support Xinjiang in strengthening the national pharmaceutical review review and approval of Uyghur medicine. In Xinjiang, the ethnic medicines dominated by Uygur, Kazak, and Mongolians have a long history and exact curative effects and are deeply loved by ethnic minorities. According to statistics, there are more than 700 kinds of traditional medicines for ethnic medicines in Xinjiang, of which more than 500 kinds of commonly used medicinal materials have 252 kinds of legal quality standards, and there are no 250 quality standards.
