Second, the storage place should be dry, heat insulation, moisture resistance and good ventilation. Fourth, do not store with pesticides, fertilizers and other items in the same warehouse. Most pesticides and fertilizers have varying degrees of volatility and corrosiveness, which endanger the viability of seeds. In winter and spring seasons where seeds are stored for a long period of time, the outdoor temperature is low, the warehouse is sealed, harmful gases such as pesticides and chemical fertilizers in the library are difficult to remove, and inhalation of harmful gases during seed breathing can cause cell poisoning and reduce their viability. Serious poisoning loses germination.
5. Always check after entering the warehouse and find problems in a timely manner. In the storage process, the inspection should be conducted every half month in the initial stage, once in the middle period, and once every 10 days in the later period. At the beginning of seed storage, the temperature inside and outside the reservoir is too high, and the temperature should be listed as the inspection focus. The suitable temperature for storage of grain crops is between 20 and 25°C; peanut, cottonseed, sunflower and other oil crops are at 18-20°C. When it exceeds the appropriate temperature, it must be quickly ventilated and cooled. If it is found that the moisture content of the seeds is greater than the safe storage standard, they should be aired immediately. In case of rodent pests and pests, timely prevention and control shall be carried out. The prevention and treatment of rat damage must first completely block the rat hole, and then put poison bait to kill.
