Article 5 The competent commerce department of the people's government at or above the county level shall be responsible for the supervision and management of live pig slaughter activities within its administrative area.

Article 10 The establishment of a small pig slaughterhouse site limited to the supply of live pig products to the local market shall meet the following conditions:

(1) Water source conditions with water quality that meets national standards;

(2) The basic facilities and equipment to be slaughtered, slaughterhouses and ensuring the quality and safety of meat are not hardened on the ground;

(3) Slaughter technicians who have obtained health certificates issued by medical institutions at or above the county level according to law;

(4) Meat quality inspection personnel who have passed the examination and evaluation of the provincial competent commerce department;

The scope of the sales area for small pig slaughterhouses shall be determined by the municipal People's Government of the district based on the actual conditions in the area.

Article 11 The establishment of pig slaughterhouses (fields) or slaughterhouses for small live pigs shall apply to the competent commerce department of the county-level people's government where it is located. The competent commerce department of the people's government at the county level shall promptly accept the application and report to the competent commerce department of the municipal people's government in the district.

Article 16 The meat quality inspection and management system shall be established for live pig designated slaughterhouses (fields) and small live pig slaughterhouses. Chapter IV Operation and Management Article 18 Live pigs at designated slaughter plants (farms) and small live pig slaughter houses shall hang the designated pig slaughterhouse signboards at prominent positions in the plant (field) and field area.

Article 27 Any unit or individual is prohibited from engaging in the following activities:

(1) watering or injecting other substances into live pigs or pig products;

(3) Providing live pig slaughtering sites or storage facilities for live pig products for units or individuals engaged in slaughter activities of live pigs that have not been targeted at illegal sites;

Chapter V Supervision and Inspection Article 28 The competent commerce department shall establish coordination mechanisms for the supervision and management of live pig slaughtering with departments of public security, environmental protection, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, and industrial and commercial administration, etc., regularly report on the supervision and management of live pig slaughtering, and study and formulate relevant Policy measures.

Article 32 Any unit or individual has the right to report to the competent commerce department on the violation of the provisions of these Measures.
