Persimmon tree winter management

One, winter pruning

1. Pruning of saplings Saplings of overgrown saplings are planted on a timely basis and used in conjunction with the summer of the following year to promote new shoots and lay a good foundation for the early results of persimmon trees.

2. Trimming of the result tree The result tree is dominated by thinning, supplemented by short cuts, and appropriately retracted. The main method of thinning is to cut cross-branches, overlap-branches, thin and weak branches, densely crowded branches, and pests and branches to improve the ventilation and light transmission conditions of the internal hemorrhoids. Appropriate short cuts are made to main branches, side branches and extension branches at all levels to promote new shoots.

3. The pruning of aging trees is mainly to retract large branches, promote new branches, restore tree vigor, and make full use of the long branches of the internal organs. For persimmon trees that have not been pruned for many years, the crown of the tree can be overturned, and the oversized branches can be removed year by year. The hanging branches can be cut loosely. The large branches that hang down at the front end can be retracted at the bend, and the dense branches should be removed.

2. Fertilization Watering should be applied to persimmon trees according to the age before the soil is frozen. Saplings apply 2.5-3 kg of organic fertilizer per plant, open the ring groove, watering after application is easy for the tree to absorb. In mountainous areas where there is no watering condition, snow or ice blocks can be deposited in the tree nests to meet the water requirement of the persimmon trees. The senescent persimmon tree should be attacked in order to prolong its life span.

3. Control of Diseases and Insects The pathogens of persimmon keratoses, round leaf diseases and anthracnose are overwintering on fallen leaves and dead branches. The remaining leaves and fallen leaves of the trees should be burnt down to reduce the incidence of perennial persimmon trees. The pests of the genus Shikita and other pests, who are overwintering in the old skin of the persimmon tree, and the young skin and the damaged young fruit, should scrape off the old skin and wavy skin, remove the fruit that hangs on the persimmon tree, and burn it in a concentrated manner.

Best Goji procuct is in China,China is the origen of Goji Berry.Goji is  a traditional,typical food in China.The majority of commercially produced goji comes from Ningxia and Xinjiang in Northwestern China, where they are grown on plantations totaling 200,000 acres.[self-published source] In Zhongning County, Ningxia, wolfberry plantations typically range between 40 and 400 hectares (100–1000 acres or 500–6000 mu) in area. As of 2005, over 10 million mu have been planted with goji in Ningxia.

Ningxia goji has been cultivated along the fertile floodplains of the Yellow River for more than 700 years and have earned a reputation throughout Asia for premium quality sometimes described commercially as "red diamonds". Government releases of annual wolfberry production, premium fruit grades, and export are based on yields from Ningxia, the region recognized with-the largest annual harvest in China, accounting for 45% of the nation's total yield of wolfberries (50,000 tons, 2013);
formation of an industrial association of growers, processors, marketers, and scholars of wolfberry cultivation to promote the berry's commercial and export potential;[16]
the nation's only source of superior grade wolfberries used by practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine.
