Application of Foodproof® Genetically Modified Screening Kit in the Supervision of Genetically Modified Foods

GMO screening: state-of-the-art multiplex assay
Transgenic screening: the most advanced multiplex detection
In order to improve product quality, agronomic traits and development of pest resistance, agricultural crop genetic improvement has become a major activity of the agricultural industry research department. As the ongoing debate revolves around food-containing genetically modified organisms and consumers requiring clear-labeled genetically modified foods, countries have established or are currently establishing regulatory frameworks dedicated to genetically modified products. In order to implement such regulations, a reliable method of screening for genetically modified foods is needed.
As a routine screening method, users can use the Foodproof® PCR kit to monitor all commonly used control sequences in transgenic plants: 35S, NOS, FMV and target genes.
The Foodproof ® Genetically Modified Hybrid Probe Screening Kit detects two major control sequences (35S and NOS) from transgenic plants that prepare raw materials and food samples. In addition to these two sequences, the Foodproof® Transgenic TaqMan Probe Screening Kit detects target genes and FMV plant genes in transgenic plants. Any of the four major control sequences or genes of transgenic plants that allow for the detection of raw materials and feed seed processed foods.
The presence of such a "marker sequence" positive test requires quantification of a particular crop GMO. In the EU, the content of GM crops must be labeled on food unless the relative level is below 0.9% for accidental and unavoidable contamination cases. Therefore, it is necessary to perform quantitative tests on certain products to assess the presence of specific markers for approved GMOs. (See the post for ordering information)
GMO maize quantification –single event or multiplex
GM corn quantification – single project or multiple projects
The Foodproof® GM Maize Hybrid Probe Quantitation Kit is used for the quantitative detection of transgenic Bt-176 maize. "176 Project" or "Maximizer", the more famous Bt-176 corn, this GM corn is the first GM corn approved by the European Union. Bt 176 Corn carries a genetic code derived from Bacillus thuringiensis, Cry1A(b) toxin, which is resistant to European corn borer. The plant pests and diseases can lead to high yields and high costs of crop protection. In addition, Bt-176 corn is a herbicide-resistant glufosinate ammonium salt with a resistance marker gene for ampicillin.
The Foodproof® 35S GM Matrices Quantitative Kit enables multiple quantitative coverage of 19 different projects containing 35S promoter sequences of GMO DNA, including Maximizer®, StarLink®, SeedLink®, Mon and Roundup Ready® in a PCR assay, Compared to standard test systems, state-of-the-art multiplex detection has a time-critical advantage in test results.
GMO soya quantification
GM soybean quantification
The Foodproof® 35S Genetically Modified Soy Quantitative Kit is the best solution for quantitative detection of transgenic Roundup Ready® soy. The genetically modified soybean "GTS40-3-2", the more famous Roundup Ready® soybean, is the first GM crop approved by the European Union. Roundup Ready® soybeans carry the gene encoding the CP4 EPSPS enzyme (5-enolpyrovylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase), which is resistant to the herbicide active ingredient glyphosate (as reviewed).
Soybeans have become one of the most important crops in the world and are used primarily in the production of oil and animal feed. In the United States (one of the world's major soybean producing countries), the cultivation of genetically modified soybeans is widespread and now accounts for around 90% of the planted area.

Good Disposable CPE gloves

CPE is the sub-data of saturation high grade (FEN), the appearance is white powder, non-toxic and odorless, with excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance, chemical resistance and aging resistance function, with excellent oil resistance, flame retardant and coloring function. Excellent toughness (still flexible at -30℃), excellent compatibility with other polymer materials, high differentiation temperature, differentiation to produce HCl, HCl can catalysis CPE dechlorination reaction.
